Items the ReStores accept
The ReStores accept a variety of donated materials from building contractors, manufacturers, and the general public. By donating your household goods, you are helping families acquire the furnishings, appliances, and other materials that create a suitable home. The following list includes, but is not limited to, what the ReStores can and cannot accept.
DONATIONS WE ACCEPT (All items must be in good sellable condition)
Due to overstock, the ReStore is limited in what it can and cannot accept at this time.
Appliances (fully functioning)
Stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, washers, and dryers. All must be less than ten years old. Unsure of the age? Click here to find out!
Bathroom
Sinks, CLEAN toilets, vanities, towel & toilet paper holders
Building Supplies
Nails, screws, brackets, lumber, trim & molding pieces longer than 4' (no exposed nails or screws)
Cabinets
Whole kitchen sets, bathroom vanities, single cabinets, counter tops, medicine cabinets, drawers. (Please have current pictures of these items to send via email)
Doors
Bi-fold doors, interior and exterior doors, french doors, and storm doors
Electrical
Any loose parts used for electrical purposes
Electronics (fully functioning)
Alarm clocks, phones, DVD/Blu-Ray players, stereo systems, flat screen TVs (less than 10 yrs old), fans, blenders, coffee makers, etc...
Flooring
Laminate, ceramic, outdoor, vinyl, NEW carpet, hardwood, area rugs (must be clean)
Furniture
Couches*, love seats*, chairs* (*Must be solid color upholstery or leather & free of rips, stains, discoloration), tables, dressers, nightstands, dining tables, dining chairs, etc...
Hardware & Tools
Knobs, latches, hinges, hooks, electrical, plumbing, hand and power tools
Heating & Cooling
NEW space heaters and window-mount air conditioners in working condition
Home Office
Small desks, file cabinets, credenzas, office supplies, chairs
Housewares & Home Décor
Candles, vases, framed pictures and framed mirrors, knick-knacks, dishes, utensils, serving pieces, pots, pans, glasses, seasonal items
Lawn & Garden
Barbecues and Grills. Summer/Fall Equipment (April – October): Lawn mowers, weed whackers, wheel barrows, stepping stones, and pavers. Winter Equipment (October – March): Snow blowers, snow shovels.
Light Fixtures
Floor lamps, lamps, lamp shades and globes. No indoor/outdoor light fixtures or chandeliers at this time due to overstock.
Roofing
All types of roofing materials, shingles
Windows
Any size or style, excluding wood & aluminum windows (no foggy or cracked glass)
